| | curious | ] | I'm an utter newbie to serving, but I've been interviewing lately. Not saying I'll get offered both positions, but I'd like input in case I do. Would you rather work at: A) A brand spankin' new bar and grill, with a first location successful in a nearby town. This'll be their second location. B) An established Tex-Mex chain place with a slightly cheaper menu. And the reasons for your choice. |

We've all had tables who order water with extra lemon and then proceed to make their own lemonade at the table. Here's a new one for you: Table orders a round of waters. A few minutes later the server checks back and finds that the water has all turned red. Yes, they brought their own Kool-Aid packets and made Kool-Aid at the table. Oy. |

| And a very merry Thanksgiving to you, too. |

Here's a song that I collaborated with my little brother today. He played all the music and I 'sang.' (Although I use that term loosely.)
And before anybody gives me any flack for the "I should have finished school" part, remember, it's a joke. I realize servers come in all shapes and sizes, with all types of backgrounds and upbringings. Remember, I am one of you. My husband even graduated with his degree in business three and a half years ago, and he's been working at the same restaurant for three years.
Oh, and there's really no video, it's just the song. It'll just be the same picture over and over.
Happy Thanksgiving! |
